Edward E. Johnson Jr.

Mr. Johnson oversees all non-investment functions at Advent Capital Management, including strategy marketing, product development, investor relations and operations. Prior to joining Advent, Mr. Johnson served as a First Vice President at Merrill Lynch responsible for the Strategic Portfolio Advisor Group and the Institutional Consulting Services Group. Mr. Johnson also served as a Managing Director for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers where he was responsible for proprietary sales. Before that he was a Managing Director in the Institutional Client Group where he was global sales manager for the Mortgage, Asset-Backed and Commercial Real Estate Securities Group. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Johnson worked at Salomon Brothers as a Director in the Institutional Fixed Income Securities Group.
